Dear Lincoln Elementary School Parents,
As the new Principal of Lincoln Elementary School, I am both excited and honored to become a member of this great school community. I look forward to learning with you and from you this year. We will continue to review and develop instruction so that it continues to raise the bar for students, academically challenging and engaging each student. Together, we can ensure that we are all learning and growing for our number one priority: Doing what is best for OUR students!
I am entering my nineteenth year in Springfield Public Schools. I was a classroom teacher, academic interventionist, Assistant Principal at Gerena Community school, and Principal at Beal school for the last four years. I graduated from American International College in 2013 with my CAGS in Administration.
This summer, I spent much of my time getting to know the building, the school’s community and familiarizing myself with Lincoln’s School Improvement Goals. In his time as principal, Mr. McCann has helped build a strong foundation of academic excellence and I’m excited to continue his legacy here at Lincoln Elementary School.
One of the most important aspects of my work here at Lincoln Elementary School will be building strong relationships with students, teachers and families. You’ll find me in the hallways, classrooms and on the playground getting to know the students. My passion has been and always will be educating students. With that in mind, you can expect that I will work diligently with teachers to make sure our students are exposed to curriculum and instruction that is both engaging and challenging. I have an open-door policy and welcome your input and ideas. I’m looking forward to meeting each of you as we start this new and exciting year together!
I am ready to make every effort to help your students reach their fullest potential. I vow to give my all to our students’ experience, and I will request the same efforts from our staff and school community. Together we will continue to move Lincoln Elementary School and its students toward a strong future. I can’t wait to celebrate our collective successes during the 2023-2024 school year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Fancy
